President Rodrigo Duterte is grateful for the improving COVID-19 situation in the country as cases continue to decline.
“We thank God,” Duterte said as a sigh of relief.
The chief executive also took note of the three-day tally of new COVID-19 cases going down to the 5,000-level as of October 23.

Duterte also mentioned the reproduction rate of the country which is down to 0.52.
“So OK na siguro ang takbo natin sa awa ng Diyos. Palagi tayo naaawa ang Diyos kasi kawawa tayo pagka iniwan tayo ng Diyos,” he said on Monday.
The president also advised the public to follow minimum health standards.

“We thank God for the decline at ‘pag magpatuloy tayo na sumunod lang sa gobyerno. Huwag mong tignan ang ano ganoon, sumunod ka lang, sumunod ka lang,” he said.
The Philippines has logged 4,405 new cases, with a positivity rate of nine percent on Monday. (TDT)
