The vaccination centers in Abu Dhabi have witnessed a heavy rush for the booster shots as the deadline for bar on entry to public places without these jabs kicked in from today, September 20.
Earlier, the authorities announced that a booster shot was mandatory for residents who received their second dose of the Sinopharm jab over six months ago.

Until Monday, a 30-day grace period was granted till September 20 to allow residents to maintain a green status on the AlHosn app until they received their booster dose.
The residents who didn’t receive a booster shot will get a gray status on the AlHosn app that will limit them from entering public places in the capital.

As per the Abu Dhabi Media Office with the exception of Sinopharm other vaccines do not require a booster dose yet. (AW)
