Two female car passengers died in a tragic road mishap on C-5 flyover in Pasig City, 2:36 a.m. Monday morning.
The driver, who survived the accident, told the responding traffic enforcer that they were on their way to Marikina when a truck bumped into their vehicle.
The truck driver, however, immediately fled the scene.
The two women who died were both seated at the back.
It took responding enforcers hours to extricate the bodies of the two women as they were trapped inside the totally wrecked vehicle.
Prior to the extrication of their bodies, a doctor from the Pasig City General Hospital declared them dead.
