The Philippine Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has launched the National Digital Vaccine Certificate (VaxCertPH) last Monday on September 6 which will enable the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and overseas travelers to get the vaccination certificates.
On the mobile responsive website vaccination certificates an be enabled in four steps of review of data privacy, entry of details, review information and finally getting the certificate.

It will be initially available to fully vaccinated international travelers and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in the National Capital Region (NCR). The VaxCertPH is part of the DICT’s Vaccine Information Management System (VIMS) and will enable the National COVID-19 Vaccination Operations Center to vaccinate as many people at the fastest time as possible.
Earlier the DICT said that from the time VaxCertPH “was conceptualized”, the Philippine government owned both “source code and data captured by the system.”
The agency has yet to determine when the service will be made available to all Filipinos. (AW)
