The Traffic and Patrols Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police reminded that driving in fog will attract a fine of AED500 and 4 traffic black points.
The force has called on drivers of heavy vehicles, trucks and buses to refrain from driving during fog. The move was aimed to strengthen the preventive measures to avoid accidents.
The fine of AED500 was based on Decree No.178 of 2017 regarding traffic control rules and procedures and in accordance with Article No.104 of the Traffic Law.
