Filipina athlete, Hidilyn Diaz, who won the Philippines’ first gold medal at ToKyo Olympics has set her eyes on becoming the world champion.
Diaz and her team have set their sights on three upcoming tournaments of World Championships in Lima, Peru late this year, the Vietnam Southeast Asian Games, and the Hangzhou Asian Games next year.
The Philippines’ first Olympic gold medalist said she is now spending less time with her training sessions and has rather remained busy in “interviews, online events, courtesy calls, and online classes.”
