The decline in COVID-19 cases, Al Hosani said, can be attributed to several factors such as the readiness of the health system and promoting a culture of regular testing.
Meanwhile, Al Hosani said that 87.19 percent of the UAE population have taken their first vaccine dose while 76.12 percent has taken both doses.
Vaccine booster shots which were also given to those who have completed their regular COVID-19 shots were also administered.
