UAE expats and residents are warned against a fake advisory, purportedly from the government, offering Dh5,500 per month.
The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) said residents should not click the link on the supposed advisory, saying it could breach their privacy.
“Important notice: Do not click on anonymous links claiming to be official entities, it could breach your privacy,” the TDRA said in a tweet.

The supposed advisory urges residents to click on a link to apply for the government emergency cash grant.
It claims that each resident who will apply will receive AED5,500 per month for six months.
“It takes a few second to apply. Don’t miss this great opportunity,” the fake advisory reads, with an attached link.
