Human remains were found in the landing gear of the US military aircraft that recently departed Afghanistan amid the upheaval in the Middle Eastern country.
The US Air Force said it is now investigating the discovery of the remains in the aircraft, which was also the same aircraft that Afghans attempted to board at the Kabul Airport to escape the leadership of the Taliban group that had taken over the Afghan capital, reported Reuters.

Several images and videos showing Afghans trying to cling to the side of the US plane made rounds on social media on Tuesday. Some footage even showed people falling from the plane as it took off.
“Faced with a rapidly deteriorating security situation around the aircraft, the C-17 crew decided to depart the airfield as quickly as possible,” the US Air Force said in a statement. (NM)
