Wuhan City, the ground zero of the coronavirus disease or COVID-19, will be testing all of its residents after newly reported infections.
The city of 11 million is “swiftly launching comprehensive nucleic acid testing of all residents”, senior Wuhan official Li Tao said in a media conference.

The Chinese City has recorded seven cases of COVID-19 from migrant workers in the city. Wuhan has been recording zero cases in the recent months after containing the virus.
Wuhan was put on lockdown during the start of the global pandemic to contain the spread of the virus.
China reported 61 domestic cases on Tuesday due to the Delta COVID-19 variant. Most of the cases came from airport employees.
Beijing has also tested millions of people and placing several areas under lockdown to contain the infection. (TDT)
