The Cebu Port Authority has suspended passenger travel at all of its port terminals.
The agency said in a Facebook post that with the imposition of Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) the Cebu City inbound and outbound passenger trips will remain temporarily suspended until August 15, 2021.

The port terminals will however remain fully operational to ensure the unhampered movement of cargo, basic and essential goods and other necessities.
The essential travel as well as the returning or repatriated Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) and other Overseas Filipino (OF) passengers returning to their residences will however be allowed.

The Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR) such as front line health workers, government front line personnel, those who are traveling for medical reasons, and persons going to the airport for travel abroad will also be allowed. (AW)
