Lawsuit fails to deter Pacquiao spars for WBC, IBK title fights

Boxing champion Manny Pacquiao maintained an unaffected attitude amid the breach-of-contract lawsuit filed against him in California, as he sparred with Filipino welterweight Jayar Inson at the Wildcard Gym in General Santos City on June 26.

Pacquiao is challenging Errol Spence for the World Boxing Council and International Boxing Federation titles and the bout will be held on August 22 (Manila time) at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The boxer, in preparing for this bout, went three rounds with Inson to shake off the lack of action over the past few years.

Pacquiao has not entered the boxing arena after he defeated the then-unbeaten Keith Thurman to claim the World Boxing Association Super welterweight crown around two years ago at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas.
