An Indian man from Kerala died after jumping from his apartment’s balcony while trying to escape a fight that ensued between his two flatmates in Abu Shagara, Sharjah.
According to Sharjah Police, the Indian national identified as TV Vishnu, 29, attempted to escape from the balcony on the first floor of the building, but he plunged to his death.
A fight supposedly broke out between his two flatmates of African origin, who were later arrested by the authorities. They were referred to the Department of Public Prosecutions for case profiling.
Medical records showed Vishnu suffered from internal bleeding as a result of his fall.
Investigators found no signs of assault or torture on his body.
