The Department of Education discovers over a hundred errors in their learning modules since last year.
Education Undersecretary Diosdado San Antonio said in a House hearing that initially, there were 163 reported errors in learning materials from October 2020 to June 2021.
However after validation, it was discovered that there were only 155 errors discovered.

San Antonio said that DepEd already took action on the mistakes committed in the learning modules.
The department also advised teachers to be more careful in the learning modules.
A resource person in the hearing however pointed out that some of the modules contain vulgar words.
Antonio Calipjo-Go showed lawmakers what was indicated in a module for students in Pampanga.

“Siya rin ay isang diyos pero ang Aswang ay pinaniniwalaan na ito’y tao na kumakain ng kapwa tao, kung minsan ang mga ito ay pinapaniwalaan na may mga pakpak at sila raw ay gising kung gabi para maghanap ng *expletive* or maaswang,” the module said.
Go also pointed other errors in the learning modules.
San Antonio said that the inclusion of this vulgar word is unacceptable.
“One topic I’m particular about is ‘yung unknown sources. How did it happen? ‘Di ba nakakatakot ‘yan, nakakalusot ‘yan and hindi niyo alam saan nanggaling,” AAMBIS-OWA Representative Sharon Garin said. (TDT)
