Recent statistics by the Dubai Health Authority reveal that 9 out of 10 COVID-19 patients who were hospitalized and admitted to the ICU are unvaccinated.
Furthermore, eight out of ten people who tested positive for COVID-19 were also unvaccinated, the Dubai Media Office said in a tweet.
Dr Alawi Al Sheikh Ali, Deputy Director General of Dubai Health Authority (DHA) said studies have shown that the vast majority of COVID-19 infections are detected among those who are not vaccinated against the virus.
