An Emirati teenager drowned while another one was rescued in the sea of Dibba Al Fujairah city on Sunday.
According to Major General Mohammed Ahmed Bin Ghanem Al Ka’abi, Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, the force was notified about a drowning incident at 5:00 pm on Sunday.

Two UAE nationals, aged 16 and 18, were swept away while they are swimming in the sea off the port area in Dibba Al Fujairah.
The police and coast guard launched a search and rescue mission.
One of them was rescued was immediately brought to Dibba Al Fujairah Hospital for treatment.

This the third drowning incident in recent weeks.
Fujairah Police have urged the public to avoid swimming in restricted areas and be careful while swimming on beaches. (RA)
