An Arab man stabbed his friend to death over a money dispute in Freej Al Murar in Dubai.
Dubai Police said they were patrolling the area in Naif when they notice an unusual crowding in a food establishment.
Brigadier Dr Tariq Tahlak, Director of Naif Police Station, said the police saw the 29-year-old victim lying on the floor of the store while the suspect was still in state of fury.
The man was immediately arrested while the area was closed.
Initial investigation revealed that a quarrel erupted between the two while they were buying food which led to the fatal stabbing.
The 32-year-old man grabbed a knife and stabbed his friend several times.
A team of criminal investigators, forensic experts and a prosecutor were dispatched to the store.
