The Directorate General of Civil Aviation in Kuwait has announced the temporary travel ban for flights coming India starting today, April 24, until further notice.
Kuwaiti authorities state that the latest move to impose the travel ban is in line with the directives from the health authorities due to the emerging number of cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the said country.

Transit passengers will only be allowed entry if they have stayed in another country 14 days after their visit from India.
“All passengers arriving from the Republic of India are not allowed to enter the country, either arriving directly or via another country unless they have resided outside the Republic of India for at least (14) days prior arrival to the state of Kuwait.”

The directive exempts Kuwaitis, their first degree relatives (husband, wife, children) as well as their domestic workers.
Authorities also assured that all air freight flights will continue.
