Dubai Ambulance stated that it has extensively prepared to ensure the safety of the public in case of emergency situations for the upcoming celebrations of New Year’s Eve set to take place tonight, December 31.
A video from the Dubai Media Office confirms that there will be 200 ambulances, 685 paramedics, 122 ambulance stations, and an extra 78 emergency points at celebration sites all across the emirate.
These preparations are in line with the emirate’s festive welcome to 2021 with several fireworks displays set to take place at the Burj Khalifa at Downtown Dubai and 22 other shows which include (but not limited to): Burj Al Arab, Global Village, Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai Festival City Mall, Emirates Golf Club; Atlantis The Palm, Al Seef – Dubai Creek, La Mer, and the Dubai Frame.
Residents are advised to practice social distancing and to wear face masks at all times. Authorities have also confirmed that they will intensify inspection campaigns to ensure compliance with the country’s preventive guidelines against the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Those found violating any of the COVID-19 preventive measures will face fines and legal proceedings.
