Authorities in Dubai organized a massive disinfection drive at the Dubai Downtown area early Thursday morning to ensure the safety of residents and visitors who will welcome the New Year at the area.
Videos posted from the Dubai Media Office show several areas around Downtown Dubai being disinfected thoroughly.

Officials from the Dubai Municipality also informed residents that they have intensified their plans to conduct inspections to ensure compliance for COVID-19 preventive guidelines.
“To ensure everyone’s safety, #DubaiMunicipality reinforced its plan for the New Year celebrations, ensuring the implementation of all control plans and procedures in the Emirate, also including that various sites must comply with the preventive precautionary measures,” tweeted the Dubai Municipality.
