‘Ninang’ told to pay for what she ate during baptismal party after refusing to lend Php1,000 for ‘inaanak’

A conversation between a ‘Ninang’ and the mother of one of her ‘inaanak’ has gone viral on social media after the latter asked the godmother to pay for what she ate during her godchild’s baptism.

The argument stemmed from the mother’s demand asking for Php1,000 from the godmother to purchase diapers. She told the ‘ninang’ that she needs the money immediately.

Need ko ngayon na,” said the mother in a series of screenshots posted at Buzzooks.

The godmother immediately retorted and reminded the mother of the other debt that she still owes.

“Ahm. Sorry ah,” replied the godmother.

The conversation went south when the mother demanded and said that the godmother was selfish and stingy, and even compared what she gave to her other godchild. She also demanded the godmother to pay for what she ate during the baptismal party.

The godmother then ended the conversation by stating that she will let go of the Php1,500 the mother owes as a Christmas gift and reminded that she isn’t someone who needs to continuously provide for her godchild.

Kapal neto. Ipapasko ko na lang yung 1500 na utang mo,” said the godmother.
