After 23 years, OFW ninang sends P23,000 ‘aguinaldo’ to make up with her godchild

It is indeed a Merry Christmas for Princess Joie Cabiles this year.

Her ‘ninang’ or godmother who’s now living abroad recently got in touch with her and made up for the number of years she wasn’t able to give her a gift during her birthday and even every Christmas.

Cabiles shared a screenshot of their conversation where her godmother asked her if she has received the gift she has sent. She had no idea what it was not until she received it on Monday.

She immediately sent a message to her ninang thanking her for the P23,000 cash she sent.

“Your welcome. Paid na ako sa 23 years na utang ko ga. Haha,” read the reply of her ninang.

Her post has now been shared 159,954 times on the social media platform that netizens can’t help but say, “Sana All”!

However, some netizens reminded that the best gifts are not always material things.

“The best gift we can have from our ninongs and ninangs are life advice from their experiences,” Jomarlee Sacdalan Marquina said.
