Bahrain has announced that it has completed the sterilization of government schools and facilities on March 7, The Daily Tribune News of Bahrain reported.
The Ministry of Education’s Resources and Services Sector said that it has finished cleaning all inches of all government schools, as well as their facilities and school buses across the Kingdom. This is in preparation for the return of administrative and educational bodies on March 8 after operations got suspended amid coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak.
The ministry said that the move was to ensure the safety of the students as well as members of the education sector in Bahrain.
The Kingdom now has 79 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 19 new cases announced by the health ministry on March 7.
