The only armless pilot in the world who is also a black belt martial arts champion has visited Saudi Arabia, inspiring Filipinos in the Kingdom with her amazing stories of reaching for the stars.
Jessica Cox recently paid a visit to the Embassy of the Philippines in Saudi Arabia, in which she told stories about pursuing her dream despite her condition. Philippine Ambassador to the Kingdom Adnan Alonto said that her visit helped uplift the spirits of those she met by exhibiting “her indomitable spirit to seek not just meaning but good for all of humanity.”
“Struch by her inspiring presence and humility, we were all awed by her achievements and desire to make a difference in the world, her limitations notwithstanding. She is a reminder that life, while finite, can bring lasting memories and influence on the living,” he said.
