A camel died after it was hit by a car while grazing for food within a herd of camels on a road cutting across the desert in Saudi Arabia.
A video published by local newspapers showed that the camel was flung several metres in the air before it landed on the sand on the roadside.
Newspapers said the video was captured by a driver who happened to be in the area, which they did not specify.
Saudi authorities have repeatedly urged camel owners not to leave their animals unattended on roads.
