Kidnapped baby in Saudi found

The police from Al Qassin found the infant who was abducted from the Maternity and Children Hospital in Buraidah last August 16, Saudi Gazette reported.

According to the police, the kidnapper—a Saudi woman in her 40s—was found and arrested.

The infant’s father Abdul Rahim Al-Mishaiqh also confirmed that he was in good health, and that the family is glad that the police found him—adding that he never doubted the police about his baby’s situation.

“I was never desperate of having him back because we are living in a country of safety and security,” Saudi Gazette quoted Al-Mishaiqh as saying.

Reports about family problem being the reason for the abduction was denied by the father, saying that there are no rifts within their family. “However, there are people who work in the dark to seed dissensions among the same family members even if they are living in complete harmony,” he said.
