Saudi Royal Prince Bandar Bin Abdulaziz has passed away Sunday at 96.
Citing the Royal Court’s statement, Saudi Gazette reported that the prince—who is the tenth son of KSA’s first monarch Ibn Saud—had been ill for several years now. The illness and cause of death has yet to be revealed.
Born in 1923, the Saudi royal is also the brother of King Salman, and father of Riyadh governor Prince Faisal and National Guard minister Prince Abdullah. Upon his request, Prince Bandar did not assume any position in the country.
Saudi Press Agency reported that a funeral will be held at the Grand Mosque in Makkah today for the late prince.
