Lego toy released from boy’s nose after two years

A boy from Dunedin on New Zealand’s South Island recalled that he was playing with a Lego piece in 2018 when he put it up his nostril.

Samir Anwar’s dad Mudassir tried to get rid of the toy but couldn’t see it.

They consulted a medical professional and told them that the toy with naturally leave his body.

“Since then we were pretty confident that he didn’t have anything in his nose,” Mudassir tells Newsbeat.

The boy insisted that the toy was inside his nose but his family believed otherwise.

Two years later, the boy had an agitated nose again: “He started getting anxious again and we said to him just go and blow your nose. So he did,” Samir’s father said.

After sneezing, he showed to his father the black toy lego.

“We were shocked, his eyes were wide open and he was like, I found the Lego, I kept telling you that it was there, but you were saying that it was not,” his father added.

Now they visited a medical professional again and was told that he’s all clear.
