Tourists and visit visa holders have been scrambling to obtain guidance and information they need to stay legally within the country after the UAE announced that they’re temporarily halting all processes of tourist and visit visa applications.
This, as the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation stated that these steps are part of the UAE’s preventive measures to safeguard its citizens from the threat of the coronavirus disease.
Sydney shared the plight of her sister, Jovelyn, who travelled to Dubai recently but has encountered problems as her previous travel agency took advantage of the situation and hiked their prices from around 70-90%. “Jovelyn was very excited to visit Dubai for the very first time in her life but travel agency is continuously increasing prices due to impact of Coronavirus. So, we can’t extend our stay,” said Sydney.
This is why Pinoy Tourism CEO Imtiaz Hussain, whose company is well known in the tourism industry, has stepped up to help struggling Filipinos and other residents as he will be providing 50 visa extensions for individuals who need it most, free of charge.
In addition, the company is also providing discounted prices on their visa extensions, priced at Dh1050 for 30-day extension and Dh2150 for 90-day extension. This is apart from further discounts that Pinoy Tourism has prepared for all embassies, hospitality, corporates, medical staff, and residents seeking new job placements.
“We are making it easier for tourists as they don’t need to visit the office for visa extension and go through long procedures. Their health is our priority. I have assigned a team that made this whole process smooth, safe and expedited. In addition, all procedures of documentation and verification will be conducted online,” said Hussain.
Payment can also be done via cash or card, and the Pinoy Tourism team is ready to collect cash from their clients’ location.
Filipinos and other residents keen on availing the free visa extension can contact the Pinoy Tourism WhatsApp Hotline at: +971 56 384 4930 (messages only)
