Al Masaood Oil & Gas – Safety Supplies and Marketing Department will be sending 6,500 pcs of N95 dust masks for the victims of ash fall due to Taal Volcano eruption in the Philippines.
This initiative is the company’s response to the call of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces to provide support and assistance to help the country rise again.
“The UAE stands in solidarity with the Philippines in these difficult times and is ready to provide all support and assistance,” said His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Mr. Ahmad El Tannir, General Manager of Al Masaood Oil & Gas, hopes that these items will reach affected communities in the Philippines especially those in the far-flung areas through the support of The Filipino Times, and Philippine Consulate General (UAE).

We sincerely hope that this humble in-kind aid will help protect and safeguard the health of thousands of Filipino families who have been adversely affected and displaced by the Taal eruption,” said El Tannir.

Josie Conlu, adviser of the Bayanihan Festival 2020 organizing committee together with Chairman Jason Bucton and Vice Chairman Lance Japor, the group who spearheaded the ‘Tulong para sa Taal‘ initiative last Sunday continues to thank the community for their response to the relief efforts.
