The Filipino’s keen eye for aesthetics, design and majestic handiwork was featured on the international stage once again at Fashion Forward Dubai, known as the UAE’s ‘definitive fashion platform’ for the region’s most popular Fashion designers.
Among the highly-sought-after Filipino fashion designers based in Dubai who took part in this year’s runway include Michael Cinco, Ezra Santos, Furne One, and Ryan Pacioles.
Michael Cinco, recipient of the 2015 The Filipino Times Rizal Award and Fashion Designer of the Year, exhibited his dream collection “The Impalpable Dream of Swan Lake”.
Ezra Santos, recipient of the 2016 The Filipino Times Rizal Awardee and Fashion Designer of the Year, showed collection “Looking through the eyes of Love” as a tribute to all of his clients for almost three decades.
2015 The Filipino Times Awards Fashion Designer of the Year Furne One of Amato Couture exhibited designs inspired by Portugal’s cathedrals, churches and old architectural buildings.
