The Bayanihan Council in Abu Dhabi, the Association of United Filipino Workers for Welfare and Assistance in Abu Dhabi (AUFWWAAD), and the OFW Kaibigan Organization held a joint gift-giving event at the POLO-OWWA last Friday, December 14, 2018.
More than 300 wards received gift items as well as groceries for their daily needs from the aforementioned Abu Dhabi-based organizations. The organizations also held a short program to entertain the wards through sharing their talents of singing, dancing, and caroling to popular Christmas tunes.
The following organizations also contributed in kind to the Bayanihan gift-giving event:
1. Samahan ng mga OFW sa UAE (SOUAE)
2. Organization of Financial Planners and Wealth Advocates (OFPWA)
3. PWR52 4×4 Offroders UAE.
On the same day, the following organizations also held separate gift-giving events to the wards:
1. OFW Kabisig, Kabalikat, Kadamay (OFW-KKK)
2. Kilusang Pagbabago National Movement for Change – UAE (KPNMC UAE)
