Kapamilya television host Anne Curtis is interacting with her fans, particularly overseas Filipino workers, ahead of her birthday celebration.
Several OFW netizens shared their tickets back home and said that they were going home in time for Anne’s birthday.
“As an OFW, makakauwi ako sa birthday ni Anne,” the netizen wrote.
Anne replied: Gusto mo mag Showtime? You’re invited.
In another post, Anne said she’s serious about inviting OFWs to her birthday show at It’s Showtime on February 24.

It can be recalled that a clip of Anne and Vice Ganda’s exchange went viral last year about a comment on OFWs made several years ago.
Vice said homesickness is one of the greatest challenges OFWs face.
“Lalo na during Christmas, or family celebrations na you’re meant to be together,” said Anne.
“Birthday mo,” said Vice.
Anne took a while before getting the joke and eventually became a running joke for returning OFWs.
