ABS-CBN’s newest primetime teleserye “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” aired its pilot episode on Monday, February 13, and garnered more than 340,000 concurrent viewers on YouTube. It instantly became the talk of the town and one of the top trending topics on social media on the day it aired.
The series’ producer Dreamscape Entertainment said that it reached 341,509 concurrent viewers — or those watching at the same time. This sets the bar high for other new primetime shows and shows that air after Batang Quiapo’s primetime slot.
The hashtag #FPJsBatangQuiapoDay made it to the top 1 trending topics on Twitter in the Philippines, along with stars Coco Martin and Miles Ocampo who were both commended by their amazing performance.
The show is inspired by Fernando Poe Jr.’s 1986 film “Batang Quiapo” which is led by award-winning actors. We will see powerful performances from Coco Martin, Lovi Poe, Charo Santos, Cherry Pie Picache, John Estrada, Christopher de Leon, Irma Adlawan, and many more.
“FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” airs every Monday to Friday at 8 pm on these platforms: Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, Cinemo, A2Z, and TV5. For viewers outside the Philippines, you can watch on iWantTFC and TFC.
