‘Sampal sa mukha’: Crisha Uy reacts on Joem Bascon-Merryl Soriano love affair

Vlogger Crisha Uy, the long time ex-girlfriend of actor Joem Bascon, broke her silence on the romance between her ex-boyfriend and actress Meryll Soriano.

In a vlog posted on January 17, Uy said that she wants to say her piece on the reports that Bascon and Soriano welcomed their baby on New Year’s day.

Uy said that she already knew the situation of the two, but she couldn’t help but feel hurt about the news.

“When I was reading the article iyong naramdaman ko that day was nagalit ako. Nagalit ako kasi bumalik iyong feelings ko na I was betrayed all over again,” she said.

She added that seeing or reading the news personally hit differently rather than hearing it from other people.

“Iba pala iyong feeling na nakita mo versus kinuwento or tsinika lang sa iyo,” she added.

Uy however clarified that the feeling of anger and pain was not because she has not moved on from her ex.

“Finally, finally na-confirm ko na nagsinungaling talaga siya noon. That I was lied to na,” she said.

“Kasi I gave them the benefit of the doubt eh before pero iyon nga, sampal pala sa mukha nung nakita ko iyon. Sampal sa mukha na tama pala ang hinala ko. Na ‘Finally, girl! Confirmed,’ ganun, ganun iyong feeling,” she added.

Uy also responded to comments asking her why she did not decide to have kids with Bascon, although they were together for almost a decade.

“We were planning to get married. I thank God na hindi natuloy iyon kasi we are not really meant to be,” Uy said.

The vlogger said that the biggest lesson on this situation is valuing honesty.

“Honesty shouldn’t be only sa ligawan stage, during the relationship or in love kayo sa isa’t isa. Dapat honest din kayo kahit sa isang… failure sa isang relationship kahit sa you know, I mean kahit sa breakup stage kahit masakit. Kasi if may honesty may maiiwan na respeto sa isa’t isa,” she said.

Bascon confirmed his break up with Uy on December, insisting that there was no third party involved.
