Six months after the proposal in a theater, the husband of Kapuso actress Sheena Halili had another marriage proposal in the works, GMA News reported.
Jeron Manzanero said he saw the opportunity during their trip to Hong Kong in 2018.
He said he wanted to hear her answer again, just in case she was just pressured to say “yes” during the first proposal.
“Eto yung trip na puwede kong gawin na kaming dalawa lang, so plinano ko talaga,” Jeron said in the video. “Kasi para sa ‘kin, I want to tell her kung ano ‘yong nararamdamn ko talaga.”
It was a trip that they took without friends or family around… it was just the two of them.
“Kasi baka napilitan ka lang kasi pinalakpakan tayo. Sigurado ka ba? Kasi eto tayong dalawa na lang,” Jeron said.
So after dinner in a restaurant, dessert was served to Sheena.
The actress reacted, “Sabi ko bakit ka nag-dessert ang mahal-mahal.”
“Tapos sabi niya tignan mo naman yung dessert.”
The restaurant served a dessert with the words “Will you marry me, Sheena?” written in chocolate syrup.
Sheena and Jeron had a Christian wedding on February 23 at The Blue Leaf events place.
