LOOK: Jolo Revilla marries beauty queen girlfriend in the United States

Actor Jolo Revilla has tied the knot with former beauty queen Angelica Alita in a ceremony held at Newport Beach, California in the United States on Sunday.

Joining Revilla in his destination wedding were his parents Senator Bong Revilla Jr. and Bacoor Mayor Lani Mercado.

Revilla then turned emotional when he saw Alita walking down the aisle. On their wedding vows, Revilla said that Alita made him a good man.

“Because of you and what you do, you made me a good man. Thank you for loving me. You made me realize that I don’t need to become someone else and pretend to be someone else. Tanggap mo kung sino ako at kung ano ako. Not all angels are in heaven, mine is here on Earth standing now in front of me. Basta kasama kita, saan man tayo pumunta, pakiramdam ko lagi akong nasa langit,” Revilla said.

He added that he has been waiting for Alita for a long time.

“I’ve never been so certain. Lagi lang pabago-bago ang isip ko sa mga bagay-bagay pero sa iyo, siguradong-sigurado ako. Hindi ko inaasahan na darating ang araw na ito. Matagal ko na itong hinihintay at ngayon nandito na tayo sa altar, sa harap ng mga mahal natin sa buhay, nangangako na mamahalin natin ang isa’t isa habambuhay,” he added.

The bride also gave an emotional wedding vow to Revilla.

“I may appear strong to many but you know my weaknesses and I love you for that. There’s nothing not to love about you. You are the most caring father, son and brother to your family,” Alita added.

“Today, I vow to know myself as you and you as myself. I promise to dream with you and be your biggest supporter, to encourage you and to stand by you from this day forward,” she said.

Also in attendance were Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla, and former senator Jinggoy Estrada.
