Kapamilya star Julia Barretto has been very much involved in the controversy involving her family and her late grandfather Miguel Barretto.
A source told Pep.ph, that the staff of FEU Fairview Hospital and St. Luke’s Medical Center in BGC can prove how much Julia cared for her late grandfather which the family fondly called as ‘Pikey’.
Julia, according to the source, was the one who accompanied her grandfather when he was rushed to the hospital in Fairview due to acute respiratory failure.
Reportedly, she was also the one who paid in full the hospital bill at the FEU Fairview Hospital.
The Barretto family then decided to move Pikey to St.Luke’s Medical Center in BGC to better treat the family’s patriarch.
The source told Pep that it was Marjorie and her two other siblings including Julia who pitched in for the hospital expenses.
When Miguel died two weeks ago, the total hospital bill reached Php500,000.00. It was reportedly Julia who used her credit card to pay for her grandfather’s funeral services and other hospital bills.
The source also refuted some reports that Julia paid for the bills in exchange of her grandfather’s house in Subic.
The house was being offered to Julia to continue its lease agreement.
