Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion had a mini- reunion in the annual teachers’ event , “Gabay Guro” at the SM Mall of Asia yesterday.
Sharon and Gabby were supposed to do a movie project last year, it was learned. Sharon had accused her husband of power tripping last year as one of the reasons why the movie project did not push through.
“Just for the record, I agreed to his requested billing. I really didn’t care. What I cared about was that this, what he called our ‘legacy’ to KC, would be done. For her.Wala sa akin ang problema,” Sharon said.
Gabby on the other hand said he wanted to have a duet with Sharon.
And finally, the much awaited reunion took place between “P.S. I love you” stars Sharon and Gabby. The two sang “Come What May,” which was related to their hit love team in the 80s.
“For the first time in forever! Mr. Gabby Concepcion, ladies and gentlemen,” Sharon said. “Miss Sharon Cuneta-Concepcion noong araw,” Gabby responded.
“Masayang-masaya ho kami, nandito kayo, makakasama ho ninyo. Kayo po ang mga guro na nagturo sa amin at kayo po ang nagturo kay KC noon,” the Kapuso actor added.
