Michelle Marquez Dee is the new Miss World Philippines 2019.
She was crowned on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Michelle is the daughter of beauty queen and Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez.
The beauty queen lineage also runs through Michelle because her cousin Winwyn Marquez was named Miss Reina HispanoAmericana in 2017.
Michelle defeated 39 other candifates and won special awards like lFILA Sportswoman, Miss Bench, Best Skin, Miss Myra E, Miss Bluewater Day Spa and Miss GCOX.
