Filipino designer showcases stunning gowns in Miss Universe Japan 2019

A Filipino fashion designer’s works were recently featured on a prestigious, international stage as Joel Escober’s gorgeous evening gowns were worn by the finalists of the recently-concluded Miss Universe Japan.

GMA News reported that Escober and his all-Pinoy team created an entire collection for the candidates of the said pageant during the coronation night at Yamano Beauty College in Tokyo.

Miss Universe Japan 2019 Ako Kamo’s black gown was part of Joel Escober’s collection. Escober and his team created around 13 to 15 gowns for Miss Universe Japan held last August 22. 

The international Filipino fashion designer took to Instagram to share his lovely creations and said that he is inspired to see the creations of his fellow Filipinos in the global stage.
