Actress Jodi Sta.Maria recalled how a business venture turned into nightmare when her business partner betrayed her for money.
“I think lahat naman tayo at one point in our lives naka-experience tayo ng betrayal from somebody na close sa atin, kakilala natin, ka-negosyo natin. Maria said in a press conference.
Although she did not reveal further details, Sta. Maria hinted that the person who committed the betrayal was someone close to her heart.
“But I believe siguro ‘yung pinakamasakit na klaseng betrayal na ma-eexperience ng isang tao ay ‘yung betrayal na manggagaling sa taong malapit sa’yo, ‘di ba?” she added.
Sta. Maria said that she invested her hard earned money for a friend’s business but did not get anything in return.
But then, alam mo ‘yung hindi niya binigay kung ano ‘yung dapat na sa akin,” she explained.
Sta. Maria then learned to let go of anger and surrender everything to God.
Siya na ‘yung bahala,” she said.
