Tagalized TV series ‘Aladdin’ from India to air on GMA

On July 1, GMA7 offers the Tagalized TV series Aladdin (You Would’ve Heard the Name), a live action fantasy series from India.

The Aladdin series is an Indian fantasy television series that premiered in 2018  and stars Siddharth Nigam and Avneet Kaur in the lead roles of Aladdin and Princess Yasmine, respectively.

The story will start with Aladdin  (Siddharth Nigam) disguises as Black Thief of Baghdad and steals from the rich to give to the poor in their city.

His life will be changed when Zafar (Aamir Dalvi), a minister in Baghdad, is to help him find a mysterious lamp. Aladdin finds it and accidentally free the genie.

Aladdin will also recognize his childhood love, the beautiful and unique princess of Baghdad Yasmine (Avneet Kaur). She wishes to be Sultana but her father plans to marry her to Zafar.

Meanwhile, Aladdin has a connection to the lamp and the genie inside it. Is this the key to finding her missing father? Will she win the heart of Yasmine?
