The family of multi-awarded actor Eddie Garcia granted his wish to be cremated following his death Thursday afternoon.
Garcia was 90 years old. He was in a comat after sustaining neck fracture during a shoot for an upcoming teleserye.
On his Facebook account, 1-Pacman Congressman Party-list lawmaker Michael Romero shared a first look at Garcia’s urn.
“At 3:20am,Tito Eddie’s ashes was given to us. (Me, his surviving son Erwin, our mother Lilibeth, Brother Nikki and Pareng Ipe),” Romero said in a post.
“As he entered the cremation room, we all gave Tito Ed a standing ovation he deserved and started shouting “BRAVO” for the last time. We love you!!!” Romero added.
