Returning actor Romnick Sarmenta said he is happy for his estranged wife Harlene Bautista.
“The best way to put it would be is that I see that she’s doing well, she’s happy… It’s okay, we’re good. The most important thing for me is to make sure na maayos ‘yung mga bata,” GMA News quoted Romnick as saying.
He added that he makes sure he spends time with their children.
“We try to see each other as much as possible. Pagka puwede, they sleep over at my place,” he said, clarifying that their separation was nit because of a “third party”.
“It’s definitely not because of as others might think, it’s not because of any third party on anybody’s part and we’re able to agree na, I guess it’s not working for us anymore,” he explained.
Romnick and Harlene were married for 19 years before they parted ways last year.
