Dancer and musician Gab Valenciano took to Instagram to share an update after he got involved in an accident in a motorcycle racing event last Sunday, June 2.
The son of veteran singer Gary Valenciano joined the 2019 Philippine Superbikes Championships at the Batangas Racing Circuit in Rosario, Batangas but things didn’t go as planned.
According to Gab’s Instagram Story, the accident happened when a motorcycle racer came out of nowhere and hit him from behind.
He said that the impact was so strong that he was thrown out of the race track and crashed onto a tree.
Gab sustained injuries from the accident and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
As seen in the photo he uploaded, Gab was lying in a hospital bed with a neck brace saying he is now recovering from a sprained ankle and cervical pain.
He also assured his fans and followers that he is now doing fine and thanked the people who helped him.
Gab added in his post that accidents happen in racing events and that he is just grateful nothing worse happened to him.
Gab’s non-showbiz girlfriend Joann Santiago said that she got worried after seeing what happened to her boyfriend.
But she is still thankful that no Gab was not seriously hurt from the accident and that she is hopping for his speedy recovery.
