Dionisia “Mommy D” Pacquiao, mother of boxing champ Manny Pacquiao, opted to have a low-key celebration on her 70th birthday.
Mommy D turned 70 on Wednesday, May 15, but the celebration was held the night before.
It is public knowledge that Mommy D has thrown extravagant birthday parties to celebrate with her friends over the past years.
Last year, she received a brand new van from Manny on her 69th birthday.
However, this time around, she only had a simple dinner with her children at their home in General Santos City.
Manny and his wife Jinkee was there to celebrate with Mommy D.
Also present were all of Mommy D’s children, Bobby, Rogelio, Isidra, Domingo, and Liza.
Manny also took to Instagram to share a birthday message for his mother wherein he commended her for her selflessness.
“Mom, I can’t put into words how much you mean to all of us! All the hard work and selflessness to get us to where we are today. Happy 70th Birthday Mommy D,” he said.
Jinkee also posted a birthday greeting on her own Instagram account.
“Happy 70th Birthday Mommy D. We love you so much! God Bless You, More!” she said.
