Kris Aquino filed nine counts of cyberlibel against Atty. Jesus Falcis, the brother of her former project manager and ex-business partner Nicko Falcis, who allegedly siphoned off money from her company for his personal use.
It can be recalled that Kris filed 44 counts of qualified theft against Nicko after the latter reportedly charged P1,270,980.31 to the credit card of her production company, Kristina C. Aquino (KCAP) Productions, for personal expenses without her consent.
Since then, Atty. Jesus has been defending his brother saying that Kris’ accusations are false. He also did an interview with PEP.ph wherein he revealed that the Queen of All Media allegedly threatened to kill his brother if he returns to the Philippines. In the same interview, Atty. Jesus questioned the lawsuits and said that the qualified theft charges Kris filed are ridiculous since she only presented credit card statements.

Aside from the interview, Atty. Falcis has also been posting statements on social media to seemingly address Kris’ accusations against his brother. He posted two photos on Instagram on November 16 and 18 wherein he described the Queen of All Media as a “liar”, “pa-victim”, and that Kris has skin that’s “urticarial prone”.
According to an Instagram post, Kris has decided to address Atty. Falcis’ online behaviors in a legal manner. Kris personally went to the Department of Justice to file the lawsuits against Atty. Falcis.
Kris captioned the photo with a statement from Atty. Ricky dela Cruz, which reads: “We filed criminal cases for 9 counts of cyberlibel today at the DOJ against Atty. Jesus Nicardo Falcis III. He made malicious and defamatory statements against our client, Ms. Kris Aquino. We will now now make him accountable.
“Ms. Kris Aquino opted to respond to the malicious accusations hurled against her through the legal process. Because she believes that this is the right thing to do. She has full faith in the Philippine justice system. She knows that we are all equal in the eyes of the law.
“Ms. Kris respects our prosecutors and she now leaves it to them to start the legal process. We believe that Ms. Kris Aquino will get JUSTICE because TRUTH IS ON HER SIDE.”
