Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin opened up about what really happened when she met Vilma Santos during the previous birthday party of Mother Lily Monteverde.
Santos is the mother of Locsin’s ex-boyfriend, Luis Manzano, that is why many netizens got happy upon seeing the video showing the latter greeting the former during the event, as it shows that nothing has changed between them.
In a press conference during the launch of her bag collection for Avon Fashions, Locsin said that she did not expect that cameras were able to capture her quick time with Santos as she tried to hide at that moment.
“Okay naman po siya. Hindi ko ine-expect na makunan ng video, kasi pinagkakaguluhan talaga siya. Siyempre bigay pugay, umupo ako para hindi makita. Ayun lumabas siya. Mabait po kasi talaga si… nakita niyo naman sa video sobrang bait talaga niya at very gracious,” Locsin said.
Locsin only had nice things to say about Santos and but no longer mentioned what they talked about during that short meet up to avoid further rumors, since she is the mother of her ex-boyfriend.
“Kinamusta niya ‘ko, ‘yun lang siguro puwede kong sabihin kasi baka maano pa e. Pero mabait talaga si tita. I’m very happy na nagkita kami uli,” she said.
Locsin and Santos were able to work together in the 2016 Star Cinema film, “Everything About Her”.
Locsin and Manzano announced their breakup on that same year, and the latter them courted and got in a relationship with Jessy Mendiola.
