At 48 years old, veteran Filipino singer Lani Misalucha is proud grandmother of four.
In her Instagram account, she recently uploaded photos of her together with her four adorable grandchildren.
During the press conference of the new singing competition on GMA, “The Clash”, last Thursday the Asia’s Nightingale shared some of her experiences as a grandmother in the United States.
“May dalawa kasi akong daughters, isang 27 years old, isang 25. Ang nauna pong nag-asawa, ‘yung bunso kong anak, ‘yung 25 years old. Meron po siyang dalawang sons, isa pong four years old at isa pong six months na, so dalawang lalaki ‘yan,” she said.
Misalucha said that her daughter’s stepson has dominant Caucasian features, such as blond hair and white skin color, that is why they sometimes catch the attention of passers-by when they go out together.
Isang Asyana at isang Amerikano — baka iniisip nung iba na kinidnap ko,” she explained.
The singer clarified that child abduction in the US is very rampant that is why people are very watchful about it.
“Sa totoo lang, ganu’n sa Amerika kasi, ‘you never can tell.’ Ganu’n ang Amerika na very aware sila na kapag medyo [kakaiba] so pinagtitinginan,” she said.
‘Yan!” Misalucha continued.
The 48-year-old singer is back in the Philippines and will appear on “The Clash”, alongside Regine Velasquez, Ai Ai delas Alas, Christian Bautista, Andre Paras, and Joyce Pring.
